Encryption in transit
All communication uses TLS 1.3 or higher. Data is encrypted throughout the entire journey from your system to the AI model.
Encryption at rest
Data stored on provider servers is encrypted using AES-256, the strongest industry standard.
Data isolation
Your data is processed in isolation and never mixed with other customers' data or training data.
Limited retention
OpenRouter retains no data, Google AI only for abuse monitoring, OpenAI max 30 days. Internal backups 7 days, audit logs 90 days.
Zero Data Retention
For sensitive data, we offer zero retention configuration — data is not stored at all.
Access controls
Strict access controls ensure that even provider engineers cannot access your data.
